Harry Fisch Art of Disappearing

A photographic trip through the Artistic side.-

Harry Fisch lives a second life, or rather a first one in which artistic and conceptual interest is an important part of his work and daily endeavor.

His interest in the Artistic world goes back years and some ten years ago he was already included in Photo España with his work «Prisoners”.

His current interest lies in the identity differences he encounters in his travels, which are closely related to the resistance to the main stream and the prevalence of a single way of living and thinking.

Harry Fisch has the belief that artistic expression often allows to express an emotion through the shared experience with the viewer, through what is not displayed explicitly and directly in the image. Artistic expression and artistic photography as he understands it, is more related to the concept and the notion than to the actual image.

An iconic photographic adventure.-

Harry has won several awards and gained recognition from the art community through international awards and international support.

His transversal professional background has led him to combine over the years his passion for photography with that of entrepreneurship combined with forays into psychoanalysis studies to finally and in later years devoted himself entirely and with full dedication to the world of photography and the photographic art.

His interest in photography seems always intertwined with that of other worlds and other lives. Always concerned with local people’s struggle to preserve their cultural identities in the midst of local mainstream pressure. He finds himself constantly constructing images that match his preconceived notions, only to discover that they are not what they may seem to be, but rather what we want them to be to satisfy our romantic expectations.
